Company
The Difference
“ Bottom line: Our company helps people. There is a diverse and dynamic population of elderly and chronically ill folks who would love nothing more than to stay in their own homes. They want to age in place. Remain At Home makes that happen.”
– Founder, Brian Carrigan
Remain At Home Senior Care is a labor of love for founder and owner Brian Carrigan. Carrigan, spent 6 years as a community education representative and director of new business for a hospice and home health company before deciding to design a company that provides quality care to seniors at a more local and personal level.
Why wait?
As a part of a committed team of hospice workers, Carrigan worked enthusiastically to help people fulfill their dreams at a critical point as they faced the end of life. The genesis for RAH was the sudden thought, “Why wait?” It is one of Remain At Home Senior Care’s core beliefs that everyone deserves the chance to fulfill their dreams and live independently, at home, for as long as they want. The RAH staff is passionate about helping clients and their families maximize quality of life and achieve daily and life-long goals
A complete approach
For many seniors, balancing an active and independent lifestyle with the realities of common aging, as well as sometimes debilitating health issues, can be a challenge. Remain At Home Senior Care provides the very best in personalized medical and non-medical care by an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, certified nursing assistants, licensed medical social workers, chaplains, and volunteers. This highly-specialized form of holistic care allows every client to choose services that are appropriate and specific to their needs.
Experiences that matter
Carrigan himself is a cancer survivor and knows personally how important local resources and help can be. After he was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma, he was on the receiving end of medical care (radiation, chemotherapy, surgery) and non-medical care (social outreach programs) both in Athens and Atlanta, Georgia. He is thankful for life and thankful for all the help and support he has been given. Remain At Home Senior Care is one of his ways of giving back.
